Miriam Weismann, Academic Director of the Healthcare MBA program does not miss one teachable moment, said a student who accompanied her on a recent Global Travel program to Southeast Asia. Twenty-nine students traveled with the professor to gain immersive perspective on global healthcare, states an October South Florida Hospital News and Healthcare Report feature article (October 2017).
“We met with Fortune 500 companies, we met with government organizations, we went to some of the most advanced hospitals, and the perspectives were very broad and thoughtful,” Weismann said.
In the past, students have visited Thailand, Dubai, China, India, Singapore, Vietnam, and Qatar. The optional program increases graduates’ qualifications, broadens perspectives, and offers invaluable networking with students and alumni. Read the full story here.
